Dreams In Kufi Perfume Oil
Perfume oil created in collaboration with Jazmin Sarai, inspired by the scents of home and a selection of lyrics from my song called “Home” (watch a live rendition below). Smells amazing, smells like home!
Each bottle contains 15ml perfume oil and a roll-on applicator.

Frankincense, Gurjun Balsam, Jasmine (Egypt), Cairo Smoke, Patchouli, Musk, Vetiver

STORY:
Scent and sound are unmatched in their power to transport us through space and time. Independently, either one can take you from a living room or sidewalk in LA to the farthest reaches of the world, or to moments in time you may never have expected to revisit. Together, their power is multiplied exponentially.
We are magically endowed with the six+ senses and blessed to be able to harness life’s boundless inspiration to create forms of art that draw on and stimulate those senses in different ways. Personally speaking, the faintest whiff of jasmine has always sent me back in time and across the ocean to the Cairo sidewalks and back alleys I used to run in back in the 80s and 90s. The right phrase in the right song at the right time…a portal to the most cherished family gatherings in old apartments or cab rides from Zamalek to Heliopolis and back. These are feelings I have always tried to capture in my music.
I have long sought to enhance the musical experience with an olfactory one. A few years ago, I had the good fortune of beginning a collaboration with perfumer and interdisciplinary artist Dana El Masri, creator of Jazmin Saraï. After just the right amount of time drawing from inspiration, testing and developing, this scent was born.
